Several years back, Stipe's life took a profound turn when his cousin passed away prematurely, prompting a significant shift in his spiritual journey. Feeling a divine calling, he began to write a book, but after a few initial pages, he set his laptop aside for two and a half years. It wasn't until his junior year at Hendrix College, when a friend motivated him to complete his work, that he returned to writing after nearly three years.
